Vessels approaching CFB Trenton Yacht Club are required to radio on VHF channel 68 prior to arrival to determine availability of dockage and to receive instructions. We answer to “Canadian Forces Base Trenton Yacht Club”. During the months of July and August, a Dock Steward will be on duty from 08:00hrs until 20:00hrs, during June and Sept on weekends from 08:00 hrs until 20:00 hrs, and sporadically during the week. Please observe all aids to navigation and the Slow/N0-Wake buoy upon entering the harbour. As we have limited dedicated transient docking, you may be placed in an away-members slip and be required to move if staying multiple nights. Unfortunately we do not accept reservations, and have limitations as to the length and draft of vessels that we can accommodate.
Guests and Visitors are invited to make use of the Clubhouse during their stay with us. We have showers, covered deck with BBQs and bar. The kitchen is however, not available. During the season, Wed night is our Race night with both Power and Sail events. Those wishing to serve as crew can make inquiries at/about 17:30 hrs at the flag pole. There is a BBQ and the bar is open at/about 18:30 hrs. As we are a self-help Yacht Club, and not a marina, all events are coordinated and staffed by our Fellow Members on a volunteer basis. Use of the Bar and/or Clubhouse for non-member and non-Club events is solely at the discretion of the Flag Officers. Such requests may be sent to email@example.com will be forwarded to the Flag for their consideration. Additional fees may apply.
Guests and Visitors will be charged for use of the mast crane and the pump-out unless otherwise stated in a current reciprocal agreement between our clubs. Those wishing to use the mast crane must be competent as well as comfortable doing the work themselves; otherwise commercial facilities are available elsewhere in the Bay of Quinte area. CFB Trenton Yacht Club reserves the right to deny usage of the crane. Assistance in using the pump-out is available. All vessels must be signed in by the Skipper/Owner with the Dock Steward on duty, and all fees must be paid prior to any and all facilities usage. Use of all facilities at CFB Trenton Yacht Club is at one’s own risk, on first come, first serve, self-serve basis. Privileges extended to Visitors and Guests by the Flag, Executive, and Members of CFB Trenton Yacht Club may be revoked at any time, for any reason.
The Club can provide shore power to Guests and Visitors and the rates stated above. However Power cords are not to be removed from vessels already at dock. Our shore power receptacles are 15 and 20 amp, 120 volt. Please be prepared with suitable adapters, should you wish to make use of it

Fishing is not permitted off the docks, seawall, nor in proximity to vessels at mooring or at dock. Swimming is not permitted in the harbour.
We have more water depth than reported on the charts. We should be able to accommodate drafts up to 5.5 feet until mid-August. If in doubt give us a call on VHF 68.
