 Wi-fi is now available throughout most of the club area. Members may access the YC-Members network with wifi2022 as the password. Please do not share this password with non-members. To ensure WiFi can support multiple simultaneous users, YC-Members is limited to 15 Mbps Dwn and 3 Mbps Up.  Your guests may login to YC-Guest with the password guest2022. Guest is limited to 5 Mbps Dwn and 2 Mbps Up.  Everyone will be sharing a single, limited bandwidth connection, so please try to minimize bandwidth hogs like streaming when possible; most streaming platforms like Netflix allow you to pre-download at home.  YC-Office is available for Administrative use.  If your YC WiFi needs are administrative, particularly for scanning and printing.  Inquire at the office for access.

You will be prompted to accept a simple Terms & Conditions page before attaining access to the internet.  If you are having trouble getting internet access, please forget or delete your current connections to the above club networks and create a new one.  As of the 5th of September, 2023 the Terms & Conditions page is secured by an SSL certificate, a requirement for devices that have high security connection requirements.  Many devices such as Chromecast, Android TV/streaming boxes, Bilge monitors and other Internet of Things devices will not be able to work with a direct connection to the club WiFi network.  This is by design to prevent other members from accidentally receiving or sending material to the wrong location within our network.  You may create your own local WiFi for this purpose by utilizing a travel router that meets at least WiFi N (300 Mbps) standards.  Typically the less expensive models will work fine on our lower bandwidth setup.

We will be replacing the card access to the yacht club building with a key pad in the near future. If you show up and the key pad is in place the temp pin will be 5555#.
